Wanderpressa travel archive, kept by handYour journey, pressed in time.

The photo records the place. The stamp records the memory.

A travel photo becomes a press: your picture beside a small hand carved stamp, printed on aged paper. Field notes for somewhere you went, marked with three words, the year, and a number that is yours for life.

The press

A stamp cut for one photograph

Choose a picture and confirm where it was taken. A small stamp is cut for that place, two or three inks deep, and the press is composed around your photograph on warm paper.

The photograph itself is never redrawn. It is laid down exactly as it came off the camera, and everything printed beside it is set in type.

The field book

A collection, not a camera roll

Every press is numbered in one running sequence, and the app opens into the collection rather than into a blank create screen. Presses are filed into the trips they came from.

The worth of it is not the single press. It is the numbered set, and the book that comes out of it.

Numbers are permanent

A number is given only once a press exists, and it is never given again. Retire a press and the gap stays in the shelf. The gap is the collection telling the truth.

Adjusting

Move the stamp, change the paper, fix a word. Never costs a thing.

Your photograph

Kept whole, at full size, exactly as you took it.

Keeping

Poster, card, or a print ready page for paper.

Your Field Book begins with a single press.
